Although we didn’t count exact numbers, I would say we had around 60-70 people turn up on the day to support the Breast Cancer Foundation. The $10 tickets included a donation to the foundation and all you can eat nibbles and drinks. We even had a table of goodies to take away with you, including items like Fortune Cookies, Popcorn, Pink Ribbon pens and keyrings, water bottles, and Pink Ribbon Cookies.
Our grazing table and baked goods table were AMAZING and I would like to take moment to thank all our contributors – all the brands that sponsored the event and donated items and then all the individuals who made/purchased/baked goods (e.g. georgieats, inrhispantry, buttytregoweth and lozalock).
We also had some extremely delicious drinks available, and an awesome pancake and bagel station!
Below are a list of our sponsors, who donated items for the food tables, the ‘take away’ table or the epic raffles:
We were so stoked with how our raffles turned out – they helped raise a lot of money and 8 lucky winners we able to take home some awesome raffles.
We also advertised that we were going to have a Best Dressed for both male and female, but in the end, it was two females that won and they were well deserved. Check the one of the winners (theweekendchefs) below:
Last but not least, we had a wonderful lady from the Breast Cancer Foundation come and have a quick chat to us about Breast Cancer and what the funds raised through Pink Ribbon Breakfast helps (and she also helped pick out one of our raffle winners).
Overall, there was lots of delicious food, lots of prizes, lots of pink and lots of fun. My last thank you goes to Te Haa o Manukau for letting us use their space. Can’t wait until next year 🙂
